Coach Derek is a self-motivated director and athletic professional devoted to driving membership satisfaction and service visibility through highly targeted strategies. He possess a wide range of experience in leadership positions, working with teams, and management. 

Derek's skill set consists of national team experience, collegiate athletics, business development, brand awareness, marketing and promotion strategies, web management, strength and conditioning, leadership development, budgeting and forecasting, competitive and strategic planning, and fluency in Spanish.

Coach served as Executive Director for Trussville United Soccer Club. In his role with the club he managed the competitive program and staff evaluations; researched and gathered membership satisfaction, staff retention, and player impact; and solved problems and resolved issues with risk management and conflict resolution application processes. In his ten years with club he also oversaw and ran all day to day operations and technical staff for each sector of programs; implemented strategic plan for continued development; and grew membership base.

Derek has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, at Birmingham (UAB) and Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from UAB as well.
